Match Preview - France Vs Spain

It is retribution time for both the European powerhouses with memories of a disastrous World Cup campaign in Brazil. Especially for Spain as they would like to silence all their critics.

They meekly surrendered their crown by being blown away by the Dutch and defeated by the Chileans in Brazil. While the French must be gutted to lose to the eventual champions Germany in quarters. But on the other hand must be raring to play hosts at the Euro 2016.

France -

France have got no competitive international matches for 2 years as they are the hosts for Euros. This means that they have got to prepare themselves with these friendlies. Laurent Koscielny and his Arsenal teammate Olivier Giroud miss out due to injuries.

Spain -

Vicente Del Bosque starts his squad revamp against France with an eye on Euros. The retirements of Xavi and Xabi Alonso have opened up new positions in La Roja's midfield while David Villa has also bid adieu to his national side opening up another position on the attacking front. Stalwarts like Juan Mata and Fernando Torres have been dropped from the national team which indicated a statement of intent from former Real Madrid boss. Also playmaker Andres Iniesta misses out due to an injury.

Probable Lineup-

France -

Lloris
Evra Sakho Varane Debuchy
Cabaye Matuidi Pogba

Spain -
