West Brom 2-2 Manchester United - Match Report.

West Bromwich Albion managed to get a point at home against a resurgent Manchester United thanks to Saido Berahino’s cool finish.

Hawthorns was in high spirits as the hosts started to play their counterattacking game. Manchester United saw return of Ander Herrera and Phil Jones to starting lineup.

The visitors hogged majority of possession but were unable to break their defensive shape. The hosts gained a surprise lead as they struck on counter from the left flank. Stephan Sessengeon with a super finish thumped the ball past David De Gea.

Manchester United were hurried in midfield as Ander Herrera was relatively having a poor game by his standards. Hawthorns was jubilant as the Baggies went into the half 1-0.

Louis van Gaal made an immediate change as he brought on Marouanne Fellaini for Herrera. The change worked as the burly Belgian brought the visitors back in the game with a superb finish.

Then it was all Manchester United as they searched for a winner to kill the game. But their over attacking approach left them open at the back as Saido Berahino scored a scintillating goal.

The home fans went berserk. Alas! Their joy was short lived as United again pulled one back through a Daley Blind's super goal.

The draw saw the Red Devils drop down to 6th in the league as they face a round of tough fixtures with Chelsea and neighbors Manchester City looming on the horizon.
