Transfer Rumour - Arsenal still searching for new strikers?

If reports by a English daily Express are anything to go by then Arsene Wenger hopes to sign couple one more striker in January after deadline day capture of Danny Welbeck.

According to Express, The Frenchman has shortlisted two potential targets for January. They are Andre Pierre Gignac of Marseille and Sebastian Giovinco, both of whom are free agents at the end of season.

Gignac is the preferred choice of the Frenchman as his compatriot is in scintillating form in Ligue 1, scoring 9 goals in 12 games. It is reported that the player too is extremely interested in the move to North London.

Giovinco is Plan B for Wenger in case he fails to strike a deal with the 28 year old French striker. The dimunitive Italian has dropped way down the pecking order in Turin, behind Tevez, Llorente and youngster Morata.

It won’t be shocking if Wenger gets either one of them as his love for free transfers are well known.
