Man charged after 'confronting Arsene Wenger' during Southampton game


A fan has been charged for an alleged confrontation with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger on Thursday.


In a bizzare incident, 25 year old Luke Bryant approached the away dugout and shouted few explicits at the Arsenal manager during the Gunners' 2-0 defeat to Southampton before being led away by stewards.


Bryant has been booked under Football (Offences) Act and is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates' Court on 22 January.


Arsenal Wenger who was recently been filmed being abused by Arsenal supporters after the Stoke game said;


“It was a young boy, yes. I think he was a Southampton fan. He was not aggressive at all. I don’t think he said anything.”
