Arturo Vidal and Manchester United

Aug 02, 2014 12:58

According to Chilean paper El Mercurio English club Manchester United and Arturo Vidal have reached a verbal agreement and the midfielder move to England is imminent.

The newspaper claims that the player is keen on joining the Louis van Gaal managed club and the club are supposedly ready to spend £47 million to tempt the otherwise uninterested Juventus.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has also been a admirer of the central midfielder and he had earlier tried to sign him. He had said: “I always wanted to buy Vidal when he was at Bayer Leverkusen but he went to Juventus”.

Also reports in Italy suggest that Manchester United have been in touch with the player’s agent with him keen on making the move happen.

It is expected that an agreement for the transfer will be reached in the coming days.
