Atletico de Kolkata who are on a pre-season tour to Spain, had their first taste of victory. They defeated a lower league Spanish side Gimnastica F.C with a margin of 6-0.

The preparations look under way for the Kolkata side which is owned by Indian cricket team great, Sourav Ganguly and is in patnership with the Madrid based club Atletico Madrid.
Its a good start to the season, where players are getting much needed action to be fit and be ready for the inaugural Indian Super League season.

With greats like Luis Garcia on the team, Atletico should fare really well in the ISL. It seems like a really bright year for Indian Football.

Atletico play their second friendly today agaisnt Gymnastica Segoviana at Los Angeles de San Rafael.
