His adult career started with Dempo, where he won the Federation Cup as well as the National Football League. His career only grew ore illustrious as he was in the team that first lifted the Nehru Trophy and went on to to win two more for India after that. He has gone on to play with Mahindra United, where he again won the National Football League as well as the Federation Cup and has since then played with Sporting Club de Goa as well as Churchil Brothers and Prayag United.
He has seen a relatively active international career as he has played for several qualifiers including the FIFA World Cup as well as the Olympics, but the team has not managed to qualify. Despite being a center back, he has scored 6 goals for India and is the second highest paid footballer in the nation.
He is dissatisfied with the dedication that India has towards football and hopes for better youth academies and the chance for footballers to professionally train from a very young age, like in the West.
