Brooklyn Beckham close to agreeing a one year deal with Arsenal

David Beckham's oldest son, Brooklyn who's just 15 has reportedly signed for Arsenal u18s side.

It is reported that, Brooklyn rejected Manchester United and Chelsea to sign his first professional contract at Arsenal unlike his dad who started his career in the North of the country.

Beckham boys who have been London born and brought up, have been training with Arsenal for quite a while. Arsenal has been their youth academy for quite a while now. Brooklyn signing a professional contract is a significant news just because of his last name.

Brooklyn who has been signed up by Arsenal, not just for his last name, but has earned rave reviews from coaches and scouts alike.

An Arsenal source expanded on the club's decision, via Hewitt:

"Brooklyn is talented and he has stood out in all of the training sessions and games he has played.

He has had other teams sniffing around and it was always going to be a case of when, not if, he was signed up by a big-name club.

Arsenal realize he can be a huge talent.

They have seen that potential and protected their asset."

And finally, Arsenal could have a Beckham of their own and in a few years down the line could be playing in the first team for the Gunners.
