Chelsea Launch Bid for William Carvalho

After an outstanding first season, the Sporting Lisbon youngster has been attracting interest from a host of clubs. The latest club to be linked are the English side Chelsea. The long term Arsenal target is subject to bid from their cross city rivals.

According to Abola news outlet: Chelsea will make a bid of "£35 million, which is just £2 million short of his release clause"

But this well could be rumor, because Chelsea already look well stocked in that position - Ramires, Mikel, Matic, Van Ginkel and Fabregas. However, with Chelsea following a strategy of buying and loaning out youngsters, this could be a possibility. Although, Chelsea yet to comply with the Home Grown quota, the William Carvalho deal looks difficult.
