Jose Mourinho and Chelsea won their first silverware of the season yesterday in Capital One Cup. Chelsea where decisive and took their chances as they scored goals in either side of the half.
Meanwhile Tottenham Hotspur who were playing their first finals since 2008 looked toothless as Chelsea just played them on.

Mourinho's team choice for the finals which was surprising. Zouma, Cahill and Terry all starting with the young Frenchman in midfield. Mourinho the man with so many cup final experience, his decision was again proving him why people call him the master tactician. On the other hand Spurs almost were as same as they did at White Hart Lane.
The match started with the stadium in full voice with Chelsea fans dominating their London rivals on the pitch and off it as well. But it was Tottenham who had the first site at goal with Fabregas bringing down Eriksen just outside the box. A freekick was given in a dangerous position as the Dane stepped up. His shot rattled off the cross bar with Cech having it cover had it been a bit low.
As the half progressed it was Chelsea who making openings. A half chance from Eden Hazard saw his shot blocked by Spurs, and Willian's free kick hitting the wall. But Chelsea broke the deadlock at 45min after Willian ball found a Spurs player and wasn't cleared which fell to the man himself, Mr. Chelsea - John Terry slotted it home.
It was One nil to Chelsea at halftime. With Spurs left to do a lot of work. Chelsea started as the better side as Hazard shot just deflected of Jan Vertongan before Fabregas tested Lloris with a brilliant over head kick from a throw in. It was classic Chelsea.
Soon Chelsea would double their lead in the 56th minute, after Cesc Fabregas played Costa through and he took on Walker and hit a shot which had a defection of the defender. The game was put to bed there as Chelsea sat back but Spurs still tried get back in but alas.
