Mou’s Friend-ly U-turn!

Jose Mourinho took back his words after lashing pout against referee Kevin Friend in their 3-0 win over Watford in the FA Cup tie. He again mentioned the famous ‘campaign’ against boys.

Mourinho added: "I want to apologize for my comments in some TV interviews."

But when he heard Friend’s explanation he had a change of heart and praised him.

"What the referee did was great refereeing," Mourinho said after hearing Friend's explanation.

"He saw that it was a penalty, he was going to give a penalty, but he saw the ball was going to Remy and he waited a couple of seconds.

"He told me that if Remy didn't control the ball well or the ball goes over the bar or the ball is lost, he would have given the penalty."

"I was complaining, but it was good refereeing by Kevin," said Mourinho.

Jose continues his enigmatic humor as he keeps both the media and the authorities baffled at the same time.
