Chennaiyin FC vs Delhi Dynamos – Preview

Chennaiyin have qualified for the semis and are now rehearsing for their big game as they host an if-form Delhi Dynamos side.

Delhi have to win this game to seal their berth in the top four. If they lose they will have to depend on the other results to qualify.

Key Battles

Mikaël Silvestre vs Gustavo Dos Santos

Gustavo has been the difference in Delhi of first half in ISL and the Delhi of now. He has been a livewire out in the final third and enjoys a telepathic understanding with Mads Junker. He will be up against a real top notch defender in the form of Silvestre. The Frenchman has been in sublime form and is a rock for Materazzi’s side.

Jeje Lalpekhlua vs Stijn Hoube

The Indian dynamite will be looking to explode against a fiery Dynamos side. He will be facing Houbr who has brought steel in the Delhi’s defence. This is a battle of two youngsters who will be looking to prove a point to the media and propel their team to glory.

Players to Watch

Chennaiyin FC

Jean Maurice –

He scored their solitary goal against Goans and will be looking to start in what is a dead rubber for Chennaiyin FC. It’ll be interesting if this forward of French descent makes a mark in ISL or warms the bench for the league leaders.

Delhi Dynamos

Mads Junker

He is Delhi’s man of the hour jointly with Gustavo. The Dane will be imperative to Dynamos success at Nehru Stadium of the south coast tonight.
