Rumor of the day: Cristiano Ronaldo to FC Barcelona?

What might just be a rumor but one which you just can't ignore, latest reports from Spain have linked Cristiano Ronaldo with a move to bitter rivals and title contenders FC Barcelona.

Barcelona who already have their own set of stars in Leo Messi, Neymar, Iniesta, Suarez and others could possibly sign Ronaldo from Real Madrid. The links have emerged ever since Ronaldo's agent Mended met former Barcelona President Laporta.

But the task looks unachievable, as Ronaldo has already ruled out any move until his contract which ends in 2016. Former club Manchester United who would love to see their starlet back in their colors have given up hope on signing the forward.

But if there is any club in the world who could match Real Madrid in status and money it is Barcelona. They can easily afford Ronaldo's mammoth wages and his other bills. And can also his trophy winning ambitions.

But the move looks far from likely to happen. There is no reason for Madrid and Ronaldo fans to be worried. Or is there?
