FA Cup round up – The Fouth round shockers!

FA Cup brought back its charm as the big boys faltered like a heap of rubble. Giant killers Bradford City and Middlesbrough knocked out the top two of Premier League in Man City and Chelsea. Crystal Palace did the same to Premier League’s third best team as they rallied back to eliminate Southampton.

Man United came back half scathed from Surrey as they were held to a goalless draw by League Two side Cambridge United at Abbey Road. Sunderland too were held by Championship side Fulham. Spurs and Swansea also crashed at the challenge posed from lower oppositions. Swansea lost to Championship club Blackburn Rovers while Leicester City trumped Spurs.

Liverpool too were held by Bolton Wanderers to a goalless draw. Arsenal, West Brom and West Ham are the only top flight clubs to beat their lower oppositions as they booked their berths in fifth round draw.
