Cavin Lobo scored a brace as Kolkata comeback to win their exciting clash against a very good Goa side.

This was truly a battle between traditional footballing powerhouses of Indian football. The game began on an exciting tempo as Goa looked comfortable in their home. The early domination bore fruit as star player Andre Santos bent the ball in back of the net in 21st minute. The crowd erupted as the ball went into the net. Goa completely outclassed Kolkata in the first half.

The visitors came out harder in second half as they started to show some of their early tournament form. But it was a see-saw battle till Cavin Lobo scored the leveler in 71st minute. Lobo slotted the ball home from close range after he was fed by Kolkata talisman Fikru Terfera. That goal spurred on the visitors as they started to go all out for the winner.

They got their winner and that too in some style. Lobo scored a stunning volley from 20 yards and helped them maintain their unbeaten run. There was a late charge from Goa for the equalizer but Kolkata defense stood firm and ensured that they got all 3 points.
