FC Pune 2-0 Mumbai City FC Report

Dudu's superb second half brace ensures that FC Pune are still in the hunt for a place in semis. Pune's manager Franco Colomba saw red as he overstepped twice whilst celebrating Pune's success.

Peter Reid made wholesale of changes in his side for this must win Derby fixture. But a sublime performance from Dudu and Park Kwang Il undid all the defensive solidity displayed by the visitors.

Park Kwang Il was the real star for the hosts. He was a constant menace for the Bombay Boys. He set up both the Dudu's goals. Kostas Kastouranis was one more star of match. He held this Pune side together with aplomb.

Mumbai had quite a few golden opportunities of their own. But they squandered them all. Pune on the other hand grabbed them with both their hands. Mumbai's defense once again let them down as they failed to play up to their potential.

Colomba will be a happy man as he will be pleased to see how his side took shape after a tumultuous start to the season.

Mumbai with this defeat have lost all the hopes of a semi final spot as they are languishing at the bottom of the table with 12 points.
