Steven Gerrard who has decided to leave Liverpool at the end of the season, and is yet to decide when club he'd being joining, has been given an open invite by the new Real Sociedad manager - David Moyes.
Moyes who was in charge of Everton for eight years, was quoted saying; 'He has had a great career for his club and for England and he will be very difficult to replace. If he ever wanted to come to play in Spain he knows he can phone me.' Xabi Alonso an product of the Real Sociedad academy, would welcome his former team mate to the club.
Moyes who was speaking at the pre game press conference, said
'It was nice to have Christmas dinner with my family. That is not always possible as a Premier League manager. I have not had a Christmas off for what must be 25 years. But I also went to games and I spoke to a lot of football people back home and asked a lot of questions about players and availability.'
But it looks like, Steven Gerrard is set to sign for a MLS side after the Liverpool skipper confirmed that, he'd be moving to the United States, with LA Galaxy looking the favourites to sign him.
