Aaron Ramsey twists ankle in Wales win

Arsenal star midfielder limped off during Wales match against Andorra, prompting fear that he could miss the game against Manchester City. The incident happened in the 90th of the game, midfielder couldn’t walk and was replaced.

Ramsey will be assessed by Arsenal medics today, ahead of the clash against Manchester City.

Wales boss Chris Coleman said:

“Aaron got a kick and there was a twist in his ankle.

“It was coming to the end of the game and it was pointless taking a risk with him.

"Hopefully he'll be ok for Arsenal at the weekend, but we'll have to see what the next 24 to 48 hours hold.”

Arsenal are yet to make any comment on the injury to Ramsey. Pre match press conference has been scheduled on Thursday morning, at which point we should have more information.
