Steven Gerrard who is playing one of his last matches is in focus this fixture, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho said that the Liverpool captain made him a "better manager". He also felt that ex Chelsea player Frank Lampard and Liverpool’s Steven Gerrard were the best number 8’s in Europe.

Chelsea’s Jose Mourinho has given his players Four days off before their match on Sunday against Liverpool.

Mourinho would now look to rest his key players as they have already won the League. Mourinho has used this strategy before so players like Hazard, Ivanovic and Terry may be rested. Mamadou Sakho has yet to recover from a hamstring injury. In his absence, Brendan Rodgers has been playing four defenders in place of three. Young full-back Jon Flanagan is also out. Strikers Daniel Sturridge and Mario Balotelli would not be featuring in this game leaving Raheem Sterling or Rickie Lambert to play up front.

This Game will be an interesting one, With Chelsea not having lost in Stamford and Liverpool's poor away record, The ball definitely looks to be in Chelsea's court, the reds however, are capable of causing an upset.
