Barcelona pipped Villereal in a humdinger at Camp nou as they came twice from behind to win the tie 3-2 in frantic 56 minutes. Los Che stunned their illustrious rivals twice but failed to land the killer blow.


Villarreal took a shock lead in 30th minute through Cheryshev as his deflected shot nestled into the Barca’s net. Till the goal, Villareal was hardly involved in the game and it was all Barcelona till then. The goal really stunned the hosts and they upped the ante from then on.


Their efforts soon paid off as Neymar’s wonder goal helped them get even in the game. Neymar’s goal made this contest wide open as both the teams began battling toe to toe with each other. The half ended with a bang.


The second half resumed in the same way it ended. Both the teams went hammer and tongs at each other and soon it paid off. The visitors once again stunned the hosts as Daniel Vietto’s strike gave hosts lead once again in 52nd minute.


The wide man was superb during the game and his efforts paid off as he score the equaliser. And within a minute of equaliser, Lionel Messi scored the winner in 56th minute as the game was completely into a frenzy as Villarreal didn’t know what struck them.


The win kept Barca within touching distance of leaders Real Madrid as they stay in second place after this thrilling win.
