Gianfranco Zola joins Serie A side Cagliari as manager


Former Cagliari star Gianfranco Zola will join them as their manager post this Christmas break. The Italian will replace Zdenek Zeman as their coach.



Cagliari were undergoing a disastrous spell in Serie A as they only won two of their 16 games in Serie A this season. Zola finished his career at Cagliari before venturing into management.


Zola has managed Premier League clubs like West Ham and Championship club Middlesborough.
