Former AC Milan legend, Gennaro Gattuso who took over as the manager of OFI Crete in June has resigned during his sides post match press conference.
Gattuso who was only in charge for seven games, has won three and lost four with Greek side. After his teams 3-2 loss away to Asteras Tripolis, Guttuso was quoted saying,
“I dedicated all of my passion and all of my strength for this team.
“But I can’t deal with problems every day, I am not the
chairman my job is football.”
Gattuso was visibly sad after he had a terrific start to his new life in Greece.
The 36-year-old said back in September: “Sometimes we win,
sometimes we lose. But you will not touch my job and my players.
“And all those things that were written on that paper are all
bull***t. 100 per cent bull***t.”
Gattuso who played 335 times for Milan, has had a difficult career as a manager.
