Alvaro Moratta’s goal is the difference between the two sides as Borussian Dortmund come home with an away goal from Turin after their first leg against Juventus.
Carlos Tevez scored the first goal for the Bianconneri as BvB’s defensive howler gave the Argentine a sniff at goal which he gladly obliged to take. A goalkeeping howler by Roman Weidenfeller was the key reason behind Dortmund trailing so early in the game.
The visitors hit back within five minutes as Marco Reus scored an emphatic goal as he too returned the favour to Juve. Giorgio Chielleni slipped and Reus left no place for any doubts as e thumped the ball past Buffon.
The game became like a boxing bout where both the teams were matching each other blow for blow. But after scoring, Borussia lost a bit of their edge as Juve was slowly upping the ante. Juve finally got their breakthrough as Alvaro Moratta scored an exquisite goal to give the Italian champs a lead which eventually turned out into the winning goal.
Juve tried to search for the third but were unable to breach Dortmund defense for the third time. Juve have a momentous task of winning at Signal Iduna Park which over the years has been a difficult venue to travel.
