Overview:
One of the biggest fixtures in the Italian football, traditional a big fixture but with Inter struggling and Juve flying high the home side looked as if they'd win it with ease but much to their surprise Mancini's Inter where one's who murmured over at the missed chances at end of the 90th minute whistle.
Juventus who started as of the best team, with the first opportunity coming in the opening minutes of the game, with Inter Milan defenders still sleeping, Llorente had the first chance.
But no one was complaining, with the first goal of the game coming in the 5th minute with a brilliant piece of skill from Vidal to turn his fellow countryman Medel to put the ball for Tevez to tap in.
The Black and Whites looked confident, but the goal in the opening minutes sparked life into Inter who came in with an intention to win the derby.
Inter started dominating the proceedings as the away side, played the ball around in front of the slow juve backline.
But in a rare attack in a while, Danilo D’Ambrosio got in a decisive block on Vidal from a corner, then tried to set up Mauro Icardi only to see his cross intercepted by Leonardo Bonucci.
It was Vidal again who tested keeper Handanovic with a fizzing shot with bounced just in front of him to push it away. Handanovic was again in the mix of things, as he blocked a Pogba effort from close range as he ran easily between Juan Jesus and Andrea Ranocchia.
It was a typical high tempo game, with the first half ending with Juve leading by a goal.
Mancini introduced Lukas Podolski and tried to shift the direction of attack but the German was ineffective.
Juan Jesus and Inter were lucky not to have conceded a penalty as they were let off for tripping Llorente in the box.
Inter capitalized on the let off, as Mauro Icardi scored a goal in the 64th minute to put the tie on terms. Fredy Guarin with assist.
Another telling opportunity fell to Icardi who failed to put the cross in the back of the net, had he done it, would have been three points to Inter.
But the scored remained the same as Juve and Inter shared points.
