Liverpool: Potential targets this window

The January transfer is up and running for English clubs. There are quite a few clubs who would like to strengthen in winter window after having a below par first half of the season. Especially Liverpool who have had a torrid first half of the season.

We at TFM will look at the players whom Liverpool can sign this transfer window

Xherdan Shaqiri

The Swiss international can provide the Reds with much needed spark in the attack which is misfiring and is overly dependent on Raheem Sterling. A fine talent and also within their financial reach, he should be Rodgers’ number one target this window.

Wilfried Bony

The Ivorian has been consistent for the Swansea throughout his stay there. He would be a much needed reinforcement in this misfiring attack.

John Ruddy/Guillermo Ochoa

Simon Mignolet is having a nightmare of a season and Liverpool have no quality backup keeper. Brad Jones isn’t Premier League quality and they desperately need an experienced keeper to fill in for the Belgian.

Jermaine Defoe

Other striker with considerable Premier League experience. He can be immense for Rodgers’ flailing side.
