I what was a gloomy day in London, tow of the heavyweights of English football went head to head with Arsenal taking on Chelsea in a fierce London derby.
The game started with Jose Mourinho's Blues ten points ahead of opponents Arsenal, who looked like they were with a look in for the title, only for Chelsea to rule that out yesterday. The game ended in a draw but, Chelsea maintained the gap as they need only 2 wins from their possible five games.
Coming to the game yesterday, both the side had their clear cut chances as the but squandered it. Chelsea's Oscar was closest of all as he chipped the keeper for a similar goal which was scored by Costa and assisted by Fabregas at Stamford Bridge, but only for the ball to be cleared of the line.
But Oscar came off concussioned after the attempt as keeper Ospina bumped in to Chelsea number eight. Chelsea were lined up with a false nine, as they stayed back and socked pressure and hit Arsenal on the counter.
Alexis Sanchez was proving to be menace for Ivanovic who gave away a couple of fouls in frustration. But as the half end, the scored remained unchanged.
Mourinho replaced Oscar with Drogba, who had to be taken to the hospital after the collision. The tactics didn't change much, with Chelsea playing deep and Arsenal trying to penetrate.
Welbeck who was introduced at 70 odd mins had the best chance at the end as the ball was crossed in, only for him to miss the ball and not hit it. At full time the score remained nil all, as Wenger was unsuccessful for the 13th time to beat Jose Mourinho.
