Are Balo’s days numbered at Anfield?

Mario Balotelli made a shock move to Anfield this summer from AC Milan. The move raised eyebrows everywhere. The Italian had a shambles of a World Cup as Italy were knocked out of the tournament in the group stage.

Since his return to Premier League, Balo has flattered to deceive. He has just failed to live up to the expectations of the Kop and his manager Brendan Rodgers. There were also rumors that Balo wasn’t the preferred choice of Rodgers.

The manager was livid with the 23 year old when exchanged shirts with Pepe at half time against Real Madrid at Anfield.

"That's the first I've heard about it and I wouldn't like it," Rodgers told Sky Sports.

"It's something that doesn't happen here, it shouldn't happen here.

"We had a case of a player doing that last season, which I dealt with, and if that's the case again then I'll deal with it again."

This surely doesn’t sound good for the Italian.
