Match Report- Arsenal 4-1 Galatasaray

Arsenal:Szczesny , Chambers , Mertesacker, Koscielny , Gibbs, Flamini , Cazorla , Ozil (Wilshere), Sanchez (Ospina), Oxlade-Chamberlain (Rosicky ), Welbeck .

Galatasaray:Muslera , Chedjou , Felipe Melo , Semih Kaya , Veysel (Bulut), Yekta (Altintop), Dzemaili, Telles , Sneijder , Pandev (Bruma), Burak Y?lmaz.

An injury marred Arsenal thumped four goals past Turkish side Galatasaray thanks to a Danny Welbeck hat trick. The win against the Turks has got Arsenal right in the mix as the group is really open for the fight for second place behind Borussia Dortmund.

Arsenal was without any of their frontline midfielders as both Ramsey and Arteta were injured. In comes Santi Cazorla and he just tore Galatasaray apart with clinical passing. The trio of Oxlade-Chamberlain, Sanchez and Welbeck was too much for the Gala defense.

The Englishman scored two quick-fire goals within eight minutes as the visitors were clueless about what was hitting them. Sanchez and Oxlade-Chamberelain ran a  riot from the flanks as their pace and trickery was too hot to handle for Melo and Co. Alexis Sanchez got one for himself after setting up one for Welbeck. The Gunners were leading 3-0 at the stroke of half time.

Arsenal began the second half identically to the first and somehow, Galatasaray were still clueless with no game plan except damage control. They were soon punished by their tormentor-in-chief Welbeck. He used his sheer pace to get behind the away defense and with a cute finish rounded up his hat trick.

Arsenal were in cruise control until their keeper Wojeiech Szczesny had his moment of horrendous madness. At 4-0 up, he comes off his line to collect the ball of which he had no chance of getting to in first place. He clatters straight into Burak and earns himself a straight red and a penalty for the visitors.

Burak slots home past David Ospina, who made his Arsenal debut at Emirates, earning a consolation for them. Arsenal lost the plot quite a bit after going a man down but hung onto their three goal advantage.
