Mourinho willing to help Falcao
Radamel Falcao had a lackluster season at the Manchester club, with most of English premier league fans dubbing the striker as a flop.
But on the other hand Jose Mourinho the man who has won numerous number of trophies throughout his coaching career wants to help the player with reshaping his career.
The Chelsea manager looks convinced he can get the best out of the former Atlético Madrid and Porto man and has convinced Chelsea chiefs that they will be getting a good deal.
“It hurts me that people in England believe that Falcao is the one seen at Manchester United,” said Mourinho. “He is a player who I know, who I have followed since Atlético Madrid, and if I can help Falcao to reach his level, I will do it.”
Chelsea Close In:
It is understood negotiations between Chelsea, Monaco and Falcao are now at an advanced stage and all three parties expect a deal to be struck.
Falcao is likely to join Chelsea on loan with an option to buy him at the end of next season, with the Colombian also poised to take a wage cut.
Falcao who is on the international duty preparing for the Copa America finals in Chile, looks confident that a deal will go through and could be announced right before Colombia's first game.
