Real fishing for Morata?

Real Madrid is closely monitoring their academy product and Juventus’ star Alvaro Morata . Real Madrid sold the Spaniard for around 20 mn euros to the Serie A powerhouse. But now the capital club is back in the mix for their former protégé.

"All I can say about it at this moment is that Alvaro is happy at Juventus and is only thinking about Juventus," the striker's agent told Calciomercato.

"Madrid are keeping a close eye on his development, but he is only thinking about Juventus."

Morata is a target of Arsenal and Liverpool in the summer who are reportedly ready to pay 25 mn for his services. But Los Blancos can blow their bids to pieces with their 30 mn option to buy back which was inserted into the contract when he was sold to the Bianconneri.

The decision may look a bit strange as Real is spoilt for riches when it comes to their attack with stars like Ronaldo, Bale, Rodriguez and Benzema are the nailed on starters and have ample of the reinforcements if any of them are unavailable due to any reasons.

Moratta has been decent for the Bianconneri as he has scored five goals in 17 apps for them this season.
