Mumbai City FC vs Delhi Dynamos FC

Mumbai who are back to winning ways after they defeated Kerala Blasters last week, would like to extend their run today against visitors Delhi Dynamos who have had their part of struggle.

Both sides are on the same number of points from same number of games. Mumbai have won twice and lost thrice for their six points on the other hand Delhi have drawn thrice, won once and lost once. With the point count same, it is expected to be an evenly matched game.

For Mumbai their marquee player Freddie Ljungberg would be missing through a hamstring injury but the other star of the team Nicolas Anelka who was in sublime form against the Kerala side would be available. Mumbai will look to Nico Anelka for the goals. The free-kick he scored against Kerala last fort night was a piece of class.

For Delhi, Captain Del Piero hasn’t hit the form yet. Delhi who have scored few goals in their five games have struggled to find the opposition’s net. But Delhi coach who prides his side of playing attacking football would look to breach a fragile Mumbai defense who have shipped in 10 goals.

Apart from the game against Chennaiyin FC the Delhi side hasn’t been able to score their frequently. Their sluggishness in front have cost them games. For Mumbai there hasn’t been a goal drought but there have been major defensive lapses which have caused them the game.

TFM Predicts: Mumbai 1-1 Delhi
