New Bulgarian Manager Wants Berbatov To Come Back From Retirement

The on loan AS Monaco striker who retired from international football in 2010 is the talk of the town.

The striker who has represented top clubs including, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspurs, is now currently plying his trade in the French League. At 33, Berbatov is still considered as a top striker.

Bulgaria who have appointed a new football coach, wants the striker to come out of retirement and re join the national team.

Ivaylo Petev, who was appointed Bulgaria coach on Thursday, said: "I have the ambition to meet him and talk."

Berbatov who has 48 goals for his national side, is a role model foe many of the countries kids. With Bulgarian standing 4th in the group table, new coach Ivaylo wants the striker to lead the line.
