NorthEast United vs Delhi Dynamos Match Preview

The battle of the bottom clubs is on show today in the ISL as NorthEast host fellow struggle mates in Dynamos. It is a must win game for both the teams as it is still in their grasp to save their season.

Key Battles

Koke vs Hans Mulder

Koke has failed to live up to the expectations since his opening day screamer against Kerala. But the Spaniard has been creative fulcrum of the Highlanders as he is the their go to man in their hour of need.

On the other hand, Mulder is having a shambles of a tournament. He has been good i patches but lacks consistency to bail his side out from hot waters. This is going to be an interesting battle.

Kondwani Mtonga vs Alessandro Del Piero

Mtonga has been a rock for NorthEast in midfield as he is instrumental in their fluidity both in attack and defence. But the Zambian midfielder will have a huge task of keeping Del Piero quiet. WE all know what Del Piero is capable of doing when on song.

Players to watch

NorthEast

TP Rehenesh – He has been one of the standout keepers in this season’s ISL. He will be key if NorthEast plan to shut out Dynamos.

Delhi

Steven Dias – The desi Beckham has failed to live up to his level in this year’s ISL. He is known for his scorching runs down the flanks and to deliver pinpoint crosses.
