Official - Micah Richards moves to Florence on a season long loan.

One of the most refreshing news of this deadline day was of Micah Richards moving out of Manchester in a bid to get his playing career back on track on a loan fee of £1 million with a an option to buy.

He was by far the best player to come out from Manchester City's academy in the last decade. Bright right back had some serious injuries in the last 3 seasons which stunted his development. It was nice to see the Englishman moving out of the country to get his career back up and running.

It has been reported that he refused a contract extension from City to get some game time. As his statement on his official website read, “I’ve been at City for 12 years, so I obviously leave with mixed emotions. I’m really looking
forward to the new challenge the loan move to Fiorentina will offer, and the chance to play abroad."

He also reportedly took a wage cut as well as declined many big money moves to other English clubs. This shows his commitment towards his game.
