Premier League Star wins German Player of the Year Award

Mesut Ozil won his 4th German Player of the Year award. This is his 4th award in the last five years, losing out to Real Madrid star Toni Kroos last year. However, he won the award with a considerable margin this time. He won 45.9% votes and over a 110,000 people have voted for the award.

The Arsenal Playmaker created 87 chances and had 16 assists to his name - the best in all the five top leagues this season.
