"Real Madrid have always been pioneers at the forefront of modern trends, and now we want our fans to feel even closer to the club through a technological platform that will increase their access to information", Emilio Butragueño said at the presentation of the agreement.
Microsoft’ COO of Sports department, Sebastián Lancestremére explained that the app is aimed at bringing more detailed information to the fans regarding the club and their favourite player.
"This technological application will allow fans at the stadium to individually follow the player they want, view repeats of goals from different camera angles, but also for the millions of fans around the world who support the team and its players, to make direct purchases of products and other things related to the club", he said.
