Southampton vs Arsenal: Preview


Two teams who have had two different drastic start to this season's Premier League will go head to head for the 4th spot on Thursday as only goal difference separates the two sides.


Southampton who had a positive result against Chelsea last week after they took a lead through Mane as he chipped the keeper. But later Chelsea who scored to draw the game and were denied a clear penalty which was termed as a dive led to sides sharing spoils.


Arsenal on the other hand, in middle of all drawn results, went all to win against QPR which meant they reduced the gap between the front teams.


Southampton who have done surprisingly well, for other than the last five results will miss defensive midfielder Schniderlin through suspension.


Arsenal on the other hand will miss Oliver Giroud through suspension after he headbutted QPR's Onuha.
