The first week of the Premier League saw 26 goals scored in all matches. The biggest upset was Swansea's win at Old Trafford and most of the other matches got the expected results. As we look to some big matches this weekend, lets look at some players who might be the difference bwtween winning and losing for their teams.

1. Cesc Fabregas:

The Spanish Ex-Arsenal midfielder has already shown with sublime passing and intelligent play, that he is back in the Premier League and will make an impact with whichever team he plays.

2. Aaron Ramsey:

Arsenal's most promising player does not seem to be from their recent signings of Sanchez, Ozil and others but their very own Ramsey who was their playmaker and one of their top goalscorers last season. Many would say that if not for his injury, Arsenal may have done better than their usual 4th place finish. He has started where he left off last season scoring the winner for his team.

3. Raheem Sterling:

With a big fixture coming up for Liverpool, all their players need to be in the best of mindsets. The young midfielder opened the goalscoring in the last encounter with Manchester City and will look to continue this fine form all along.

4. David Silva:

Contract Extended and fit, Silva who scored city's first goal of this season is the creative player who can turn a game around. Specially with the big game against Liverpool coming up, he needs to see more of the ball upfield if City want to win the fixture.

5. Romelu Lukaku:

The big Belgian has finally made a permanent move away from Stamford Bridge and is looking to make an impact with Everton. even better than his last season's stint. He can play a strong game forward, has pace and is also adaptable playing on the wings which makes him a dangerous player. Arsenal will focus their defense on stopping this man no doubt.

6. Fabian Delph:

The Aston Villa midfielder will be high on confidence after a good 2013-14 season where he also scored the winner against Chelsea. After a winning start and more importantly a clean sheet, he is one who can turn the game around for his team with his pace and passing.

7. Diego Costa:

Starting his Premier League debut with a goal for the Blues, he could be the much needed answer to Chelsea's striker crisis of the past few seasons. With a strong build and quick pace he can find himself in the right place at the right time more than often.

8. Bred Hangeland;

In spite of the departure of Toni Pulis in the last minute, Crystal Palace showed a good performance against Arsenal in Week 1. Hangeland was strong in defense and also scored the goal for his team. His competitive spirit and leadership qualities can take Crystal Palace to higher levels of performance and we could very well forget the loos of a great manager that they have suffered.

9. Wilfried Bony:

Although the Swans centre-forward did not appear on the score sheet, he was involved in both their goals. He is a strong player who is a good target for aerial balls and can trouble the inexperienced Burnley defense.

10. Eric Dier:

With a strong performance and a goal to win it for his club on his debut, Dier will be full of confidence coming into this weeks fixtures. HE will look to play ahead and create gaps in the QPR defense, who come off a loss in the return to top flight football.
