At just 21, Harry Kane is the lad who has been carrying the burden of the team on his shoulders. The Chingford born player is a product of Tottenham's academy.
He made his senior debut for Tottenham on 25 August 2011 in a UEFA Europa League game against Heart of Midlothian. Since then he was loaned to various lower tier league clubs.
But it was this season when Kane trained with the first team members regularly. Pochettino who was the newly recruited manager, found that spark in the young England u21 striker.
With misfiring striker Adebayor and misfit striker Soldado, the manager tried Harry Kane with the first team, with his first goal coming in the Europa league. Since then, the striker has made his place permanent in the first eleven.
Kane's enthusiasm and character was there to see when Spurs beat Chelsea 5-3 with the striker single handedly giving season campaigners like Gary Cahill and John Terry a tough time.
With such performance and stats which read 8 goals out of 17 appearances, Harry Kane has a good chance to make it the National side, with England number 9 spot always up for grabs with the injury prone Daniel Sturridge and inconsistent Welbeck.
Harry Kane could well prove to be an asset in some year be it for Spurs or for England.
