Time Up For Juan Mata At Manchester United?
With a massive £154m lay out last summer, the manager doesn't look as if he's done after, he was said quoting that there would be a creative midfielder coming in.
When asked whether Wayne Rooney was currently playing in a deeper role to fill the creative hole in his side, the Old Trafford coach said: "Of course that's the case. I'm looking for balance and I need it in midfield. The last games I played with Adnan Januzaj and Angel Di Maria in the midfield positions. Then you need a certain balance for those kind of creative players."
Pressed on whether a midfielder will be his focus this summer, Van Gaal added: "Yes, of course."
With the above quotes taken in to assumption, we wonder what would it mean for Juan Mata who joined them just two windows back. The second highest record money transfer has not really been handed a chance to prove himself.
Just like Kagawa who was sold after he failed to prove his worth, at least this is what the media say but according to us he wasn't given enough chances to prove his worth.
With Van Gaal having funds at his disposal, could Juan Mata face the same fate?
