Daniel Sturridge the next 007?

Liverpool star who committed himself to a new five year contract yesterday, has revealed his ambition and love for acting and drama. The player who's recovering from a injury was quoted saying:

“There is an expectation that if you do a sport, any sport, you should never have a life outside of that,” he said. “People expect you to just train, play, train. But that’s not me.

“I loved drama class at school. I never took it seriously as I was playing football. But maybe when I retire, I'll have a dabble.”

Former United star Eric Cantona who made it to the films after retirement, could well be joined by Daniel Sturridge in the future in the list of footballers made it to Hollywood after their playing career.

The England forward who has been seen hanging around with supermodels and designers recently at the London Fashion Week could well be on the route already. With his very first professional shoot on the recent edition of Esquire magazine the striker looks set to make his impression on the fashion industry.
