Zidane's coaching ban suspended

Real Madrid Castilla’s coach Zinedine Zidane has been cleared to coach Castilla team despite being banned by Liga watch dog. Earlier in the week, Los Blancos legend was handed a three month ban from coaching activities citing a case of forging his coaching badges.

A Spanish court has cleared all the charges listed on the 42 year old legend citing he has proper licences awarded by the French Football Federation.

This has gone in sync with Real’s statement that they will explore all the legal avenues to overturn the ban. And they did precisely that.

This has come as a welcome respite to a struggling Castilla side who are plying their trade in Segunda B which is the third tier of Spanish football.
