Here is the list of top 10 possible high profile transfers which may take place this transfer window.


1. Paul Pogba (Juventus, 22, France)



Paul Pogba can play in many positions in the midfield. Pogba is a player who is known for his Strength, ability to make key passes and give accurate through balls. He is a player who likes to dribble and wins aerial duals with ease. He is however, blamed for showboating and giving away fouls too easily. As a whole he is a player any team would like to have as his pros outweigh his cons. He is rumoured to go to numerous clubs as Barcelona, Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and PSG are all interested in signing the French Midfielder.

2. Carlos Tevez (Juventus, 31, Argentina)



Carlos Tevez is a forward who can also play as an attacking midfielder. He is a player who likes to hold the ball, go in for tackles as well as play physical. His shooting and dribbling skills are commendable. His abilities to pass the ball forward and provide through balls make him different from players playing in his position. Being a forward he is also known to finish neatly however due to him diminutive stature his only weakness is winning duels in the air. He has not committed to the club as yet and maybe leaving this transfer window.

3. Arturo Vidal (Juventus, 28, Chile)



Known to play almost the whole of the midfield, Arturo Vidal is a player with multiple star-player qualities. He is great at anticipating the oppositions play and likes to make strong tackles. His defensive contributions are commendable and he is good at making passes and providing his team mates with through balls. He is a player that likes to do layoffs and cut in while dribbling. He too like his Juventus teammate Pogba commits fouls easily. However a player of his abilities and calibre would make his place in Liverpool and Arsenal who are reportedly interested in signing the South American.

4. Antoine Griezmann(Atletico Madrid, 24, France)



This diverse French player can play on the wings, as an attacking midfielder and as a forward. He is known for his ability to hold the ball and his finishing. He is also a player who likes to do layoffs and cut in while dribbling. He is an indirect set piece threat as he is known for his heading ability as well. He is however a little poor when it comes to crossing but for a player whose peak years are ahead of him, he can definitely work on them. Premier League Giants Chelsea are interested in signing him as well as his Atletico Madrid teammate Koke.

5. Mats Hummels (Dortmund, 26, Germany)



This 26 year old German is known as one of the finest Centre backs in the world right now. He is strong, and can read the game well. He is also very good with passing and for a defender he likes to dribble and go ahead with the ball. He is also a strong tackler and is known to intercept the ball very well. He needs to be partnered with a faster CB to do his job even better as he is comparatively slow. He is also prone to making a few defensive errors but overall manages to give a very solid performance time and again. Manchester United are reportedly looking to sign the defender this transfer window.

6. Ramadel Falcao (Manchester United, 29, Colombia)



Falcao may have a bad season at Manchester United and may not have lived up to his reputation but El Tigre has performed quite consistently during his time with Atletico Madrid as well as Monaco. He is known for his ability to Finish the ball well and shoot from a distance. He is also known to be an indirect set piece threat. He is however criticised to not hold the ball well and not contribute enough defensively. Chelsea are reportedly interested in the 29 year old Colombian forward. It would be interesting to see whether Mourinho can get the best out of the forward or would El Tigre suffer like he did under Mourinho’s teacher Van Gaal.

7. Raheem Sterling (Liverpool, 20, England)



This 20 year old Liverpool player is one of the most sought after players. He is looking for a move away from Liverpool and has refused to sign a new contract with Liverpool. He is known as an offensive player who likes to dribble as well as make crisp short passes. He is also known to provide key passes. it is due to his ability to dribble well with the ball that he ends up getting fouled. He was the second highest number to be at the receiving end of a foul in the Premier League last season. He is young and needs to work on his crossing and his defensive contributions as well as his ability to win aerial duels. He is reportedly being chased by many top clubs including Real Madrid.

8. Ilkay Gundogan (Dortmund, 24, Germany)



This 24 year old midfielder can play anywhere in the Centre, be it Central Midfielder, Centre Defensive Midfielder or Central Attacking Midfielder. He is player who likes to shoot from a distance as well as one who likes to play long balls. The German is accurate with his passing and that makes it easy for him to send Long balls. He is also known to make key passes accurately and his ability to do makes him a game winner. The Dortmund star is however, weak with his tackling and winning aerial duels but he makes up for that with his dribbling skills and his finishing skills are better than quite a few midfielders. Manchester United is keen on signing the midfielder as his playing style is similar to that of United’s playing style.

9. David de Gea (Manchester United, 24, Spain)


Real Madrid is very keen to sign the Keeper. He is known for his good handling of the ball. He has been performing well in the top flight for over 3 seasons now (Atletico Madrid, Manchester United). He is however known to have one defect in his goalkeeping abilities which is catching oncoming crosses and he is known to concede or make some errors in that situation. He makes up for that with his ability to stop shots and extraordinary reflexes. He is one of the reasons for their top-four finish with his consistent performances as well as making match winning saves.

10. Petr Cech (Chelsea, 33, Czech Republic)



This long serving Chelsea player is known for giving his best for Chelsea for over a decade since he joined in 2004. He has since then made 485 appearances for the English club and kept a record 220 clean sheets. He has helped the club 15 major titles amongst other trophies. He is an excellent shot stopper and a major credit of that goes to his reflexes as well as his experience. He is also known to save both long range and short range shots equally well. Arsenal FC, PSG and United are looking to sign the goalkeeper who is reportedly looking for more first team football as he is currently playing second fiddle to in-form Thibaut Courtois.
