Fernando Torres looks set to put an end to his three and a half year stay at the West London team, as the clubs have agreed a two year loan deal for the Spanish striker. Since joining Chelsea, the striker has just scored 45 goals in his 172 appearances for the club.

After signing for the Blues on the deadline day, much was expected from the 50 million man, but he failed to live up to his price tag.

Torres and his agent are expected to fly to Milan tomorrow morning and finalize the contract. A medical has been scheduled for tomorrow, of which the first part will take place at the La Madonnina clinic and the second part at the Milanello.

Official statement:

“Chelsea Football Club and AC Milan have agreed terms for the two-year loan deal of Fernando Torres to the Italian club,”

“The move is now subject to Fernando agreeing personal terms with AC Milan and passing a medical examination.”
