Tottenham Hotspur vs. West Ham United – Preview

This London derby will be one of the high profile games considering both the teams have been putting up a good show throughout the season. Spurs at the moment are highflying as they have been on a good run till the defeat at Anfield.

West Ham too have been a force to reckon with this season but their away form is a cause of concern for many. There are reports that Big Sam is pushed out from the Boleyn Ground mailnly due to team’s faltering fortunes of late. The 4-0 defeat to West Bromwich Albion is said to have played as a major catalyst in this respect.

Team News

Harry Kane and Erik Lamela are expected to return to the starting lineup after being rested in midweek against Fiorentina. Harry Kane has been in super form for the Lilywhites as he has scored 23 goals in all competitions for them.

West Ham too is boosted by the return of their two key defenders in Winston Reid, James Collins and midfielder Matt Jarvis. Striker Andy Carrol is the only absentee as he has been ruled out for the season. This defensive boost means that Cheikhou Kouyate will return to his favoured midfield position.

Probable Lineups

Spurs - Lloris, Walker, Fazio, Vertonghen, Rose; Bentaleb, Mason; Chadli, Eriksen, Lamela; Kane

West Ham - Adrian; Jenkinson, Tomkins, Collins, Cresswell; Song, Kouyate, Nolan, Downing; Sakho, Valencia

TFM predicts a 2-0 win for the Spurs with Harry Kane leading the way for the hosts.
