Real Madrid has sounded out to Manchester United and Chelsea that they can sign Varane for £20m.

With both Louis Van Gaal and Jose Mourinho wanting to sign a center back this window, the race for the talented French youngster will be tight. With money no issue for both the clubs, it all comes down to ambition.

Varane, who has been denied playing time at Real Madrid by first choice center backs, Ramos and Pepe, is looking to move and put his name permanently on the French starting line up.
