Wayne Rooney to undergo a scan for his knee

Manchester United's injury woes fail to subside as Wayne Rooney and Angel Di Maria are the latest ones to join their mates at the physio table.

Wayne Rooney was suppose to start against the Potters at the Old Trafford but was omitted from the match day squad by LvG altogether. Instead young James Wilson made his first start of the season.

"He will have a scan and then we will know more,"
said Van Gaal. "I hope the injury is not so
serious."

Man Utd have had 42 different injuries this season which is more than their last 5 seasons combined.
