Yaya Toure wins African Footballer of the year




Yaya Toure has become the first player to be named Confederation of African Football African Footballer of the Year four years in a row.


Toure was very influential in Manchester City's title winning campaign as he scored 20 goals in process. And one of the most important goal in their Carling cup final.


Toure also helped his country qualify for this years African Cup of Nations.


Toure who has been an important part of Man City's success and rise for the last four years, is the first player to win four consecutive footballer of the year titles.


Toure beat off the challenge of Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick
Aubameyang and Nigeria goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama.
