Zenit win the Russian League
Zenit St Petersburg were crowned the Champions of Russia for the fourth time yesterday after 1-1 draw for enough for the team led by Andre Villas Boas to win the league with two games yet to be played.
After blistering start to his managerial career at Porto manager Villas Boas was brought outright by Chelsea's Russian billionaire owner Roman to manage his team.
With the Portuguese getting his sack at Chelsea, he joined Tottenham Hotspurs with his faith resulting in the same. Dubbed as the junior Mourinho, Andre had burden which he could take.
He quickly moved out of England and joined the Russian side Zenit this summer. Andre managed to turn tides as he won his first trophy since 2011.
He said: 'Zenit still have room to improve and become stronger. There will be changes and by this, I mean within the squad.
'We need to try and grow in order to win and improve in European competitions. To achieve this, there will be some changes and there will be investment.'
The 37-year-old was tossed in the air by his team after being crowned Russian champions with two games to spare.
