Bale can be better than Ronaldo - Keegan

Former England boss Kevin Keegan was all praises for Welsh international Gareth Bale as the winger looks to start a new season at Real Madrid under new manager.

Bale who joined Real Madrid for a world record fee, but was unfairly criticised by fans and media in his second season and used as a "whipping boy", says Keegan.

"People think he's got to be better than Ronaldo. He could be one day."

Keegan added: "He's also going to be in the shadow of someone like Ronaldo at least until Ronaldo retires."

Keegan who has been a player himself says the player deserve some respect as the fans have been harsh on the British man.
